I'm watching a special on PBS...Detroit Public TV.

It went through YEARS of Israeli/Palestinian agreements, had exclusive interviews with everyone you can imagine... Arafat, Netanyahu, Barak...etc...etc...all the negotiators.

Barak and Arafat were getting along...making agreements, and peace was really imminent.

Arafat made one request to Barak: He asked Barak to NOT let Sharon go to the Temple Mount... and Sharon went.

That was the end.

Sharon went, and instigated the new Palestinian uprising...and now you have thousands dead.

Had Sharon not went to Jerusalem, there very well have been peace today.
