hey guys,
the silk road festival was great!!
the assyrians performed pretty well. we didn't have a full house in the tent but they put on a good show. they sang some church songs and then some wedding/folk songs. and no performance is complete without a rendition of "bagiyeh." yours truly went down to the stage and danced with the two other assyrians while the choir sang the song. it was pretty cool. i have some pics and if i find a scanner i'll send them to el jefe and they may be uploaded to this good ol' site.
