How spot balls on right.
ON the news today they featured a comedy group in funny Mullah beards, sunglasses...etc. They were singing a humorous ditty about how they will blow us up, about explosives in cars.BOOOM BOOOM.
It really WAS funny. I remember after the 9/11 thing people intoning hoe we would never be the same agin, how nothing could ever be funny ever again...all this solemn crap to prove we were deeply touched and changed forever...the implicatio being we were going to become a more serious and thoughtful and grown up bunch of fools, where before we'd been smart fools.
I would like to have seen this satire aired the day after 9/11...it would have outraged everyone...now we laugh...and more innocent civillians anywhere we want can be killed. This is insanity sanctified.
