+++You're all still welcome. Alas, we may not have that home for long. I was supposed to pay the second half two months ago. It isn't Janey or Atour or Jackie's fault certainly...I'm the one who chose to trust them, but after going to Mexico and entering into the deal with Janey and Atour's assurance that they had checks for the Hammurabi....I arrived to more demands for contracts and conditions. Ergo...no funds appeared, and with all that happened...no second payment...The contract with the owners stipulated we'd have to move out and forfeit the first half...if I was late with the balance.
No Lilly...I'm not bitter. Any artist of ours who decides to lift us out of Diapers has met the same fate...none more so than I...because I did more lifting in real time than the rest of them. It was a calculated risk...I thought I could trust a woman of Janey's character...thought surely she and Atour, who wept at the feet of the Ashurbanipal Monument, would do everything to make the project work...not be the main obstacles I'd face.
Anyway...come as fast as you can. I have no idea where we go from here. May my children forgive me...they will, they do, they never blamed me. But how do I explain to them that being an Assyrian is a special thing, something to be cherished...that solidarity among our people is desirable, that working for this Heritage is a noble and worthwhile goal...a privellege really...who else can claim this kind of a background?
And who else has harmed us more than our leaders and priests? Who needs Turks and Muslims when you've got Assyrians trying to ruin you?
