Being a Pinko...or a "fellow traveller"...or just a hint that you were soft on Communism, or Crime, used to be enough to get you whacked...now it's "soft on Terrorism". Same old same old.

The Repubs could give a shit about the "issues" they use to get into office with...those are just for public consumption. What they are really getting in there to do is make the changes in Law and regulations that allows them and their friends to soak us all in the following years...leading to the day when the jig may or may not be up. If the whole thing goes belly up...like an Enron ...after soaking California residents for billions in energy scams and costing people their retirement etc...they can say with a straight face..."it was legal then". Which it was because they quietly changed the laws while you were all looking the other way...distracted by Commies under your beds...porn in schools, rampant crime...abortion on demand, loose morals, welfare queens, and now Terrorism.

We deserve every bit of it.
