Note about Israel

I found the following in a law school journal article:

"More than 90 percent of land in Israel is state-owned, as is the suburban development called Katzir where the Kaadans hope to live. Typically, the state sells or parcels out the land through long-term leases, often for planned communities such as Katzir, where screening committees impose restrictions."

Any country in which the state owns more than 90% of the land and decides that people of one religion can purchase (or lease) that land, but people of another religion cannot, is not a democracy.

It's just crazy.
