Sorry to hear about this! It royally sucks when family dicks you over, whether or not they mean to... & that's an understatement.
Damn. Stuck here today - looks like I'll be going to the falls tomorrow. Nothing can stop me - I WILL GO! :) Ashur, I miss being outside... in all my life, I honestly never wanted (or want, still) money or material goods, just a quiet place to live by a beautiful stream on a mountain somewhere. It can be a one room cabin w/ an outhouse, wood stove, & no electricity... I could live there alone, even - why settle down w/ anyone who could not appreciate this? I'd rather die single! In fact, I used to fantasize about this when I was a kid... writing short stories about it - a girl living alone in the woods w/ a few dogs that are trained to be friendly toward animals & protect her from unwanted company... Last year, I was so tempted to just quit everything & become a vet & park ranger. Oh, to aspire to be just like Nature - Nature can't be purchased, only admired, respected, & loved... the perfect relationship. :)
