Today, of all days, is when you will see clearly how we got here...the kind of cultural arrogance that brought us this day of "forgetfulness". America has managed the impossible...better than getting "conked"..better than Michael Jackson's skin bleaching...they've found a way to make us white from the inside..."or else".
This is a day of National Arrogance...of shamelessly displaying to the world that only American lives count, only American children deserve to be grieved for, only American fury can be released onto inncoent people...only Americans have a right to seek revenge...let alone justice.
Years from now, today will stand out as the day above all others when we told the rest of the world...the dark people in it especially, to go fuck themselves...that our way of life, our sense of entitlement allows us to turn them into mulch...if they protest in any way to the debasement of their lives, their forests and waters and resources.
This kind of arrogance has never gone unpunished...never. And it comes from within...people this callous and this ignorant, destroy themselves long before anyone has to lift a finger against them.
Take away the external threats and what do you have in America? The same people who rape and despoil other countries, practise on us, their own people. They are jailing US without trials, they are jailing US for non-violent crimes...they are executing US without fair trials, with shoddy evidence...they are denying OUR children...they are ruining OUR forests and oceans and rivers and skies. When there are no more people left anywhere else to oppress...they will turn on us...just as they have been practising on us these last three decades.
Today we mourn our own demise...who hasn't wanted to be present at their own funeral.
