Last time that I saw Fred Parhad right after the 9/11 tragedy in the evening of the debate with Ross(The Los Angeles Valley College teacher) claims about our heritage only a handful of Assyrians from Southern California showed up. Even those that showed up were so disorganized that we kept asking about our past heritage and not the present state of our people. Fred wasn't defending his heritage, he defended our heritage and what a job he did.However, only a handful of people showed up. To me that was a taste of will!
Let us not forget that our communities are in a dismal state of stagnation and their desperate for anything new.
The only possible solution to safe guard and minimize our people demise is to call up all those intellectuals and think tanksers to gather and introudce a blue print to overhaul our communities dismal state. And for that it requires to have hard working, talented, educated, caring, loving individuals.
