: Internship was...ERGH. Not the best. i learned a lot but ended up doing a lot of what i call "volume" work. in some cases the typical intern experience. i can email you a paper i did on the FEC & the problems with implementation of the campaign finance law? what's your email again?
xxx My email is: hypatiaii@hotmail.com I'm *definitely* interested in your paper!
xxx Sorry to hear about how the internship wasn't as great as you wanted it to be, but you're right - internships are like that. One of these days, you'll be the one letting other people do the boring work for you. :) However, boring as they may seem, they stick w/ you - all of the small stuff will become important to you one day, too. I had 2 summer internships - one doing biomed research & the other doing epidemiological stuff. Both have profoundly influenced my life, even though they weren't necessarily the most fun things I did. Even just getting a feel for a different place, making new friends, observing another subculture(s), & living more or less on your own during these things... you take notes about these things, even if you're not conscious of it at the time, & these notes really can affect you, help you come to your own conclusions about life as you see it...
