I never put forward a conspiracy theory.
I beleive that the US leadership is pragmatic and uses all events to its ultimate advantage, in order to become the world's only superpower.
Ever since Communism fell in Russia they needed another excuse to expand their power throughout the globe. They have created the conditions for extremists to breed.
Knowing that there was a probability of an attack on Sep. 11, but allowing it to happen, would be similar to knowing that the Japanses would eventually be forced to attack the US fleet at Pearl Habour after placing an oil embargo on Japan in 1941. A recently discovered sunken Japanses submarine shows that the Americans may have been the first to fire a shot in the battle of Pearl Habour. ANd unclassified documents show that a warning was sent of the approaching Japanese but never reached the commanders at Pearl Harbour.
Hey...that actually would sound like a conspiracy theory if I had stated it days after Pearl Habour.
