xxx Exactly. But they don't have Iraq yet. More importantly, they don't have Iraqi oil completely under their control yet (& I'm not saying in an obvious way). I think the majority of the American population is, like you point out, already incredibly delusional. That's all it takes - a majority. The minority makes a bit of noise, but until it can affect the majority, the minority doesn't matter. I think they already have the US - that's what I was saying.
I'm also making the argument that resources & money (-> power) are to be gained from an attack on Iraq for the corporations that run the show, run this gov't, have run this gov't since at least the end of WWII. Snatching up Iraqi oil is the prelude to a much bigger grab.
