Dear TONY,
Many of us are taking time this week to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for. Maybe it's the love we share with our family and friends. Our good health. The joys we get from belonging to a community. Or the support we get from others when we are in need. This year I am blessed to have some of all that.
I want particularly to share with you my thanks that you have joined TrueMajority. Over 85,000 of us who want our government to reflect our shared values of compassion, justice and sustainability have already come together. I started TrueMajority with a few like-minded friends and supporters just last June. We believed that we were not alone and hoped that we could find some of the millions of people out there who also have a positive vision of America's role in the world.
It's already working. Tens of thousands of people are already taking advantage of our free Congress monitoring service and are getting involved when their voice counts in Washington. And our numbers are growing fast. We are already having an impact, and when we're a million strong that outpouring of hope will resound through the halls of government.
Real change is hard to come by. I'm thankful to be a part of something that is working, and that you have joined with so many others to bring it about.
