That's one solution...like the people of Denmark could have done, carefully established who was Christian and who was not. That would have sent the "guilty" ones to the death camps and saved the "good" people.
The other way is to throw it in their faces...be so outrageous that you can't be believed. King Christian didn't know what would happen the day he rode out with a yellow star attached to his uniform. But he showed the way for his people and they responded accordingly...and the big bad Gestapo were stymied...dead in their tracks. These punu punks have no real power except what results from our fear.
During one other shameful period in our history...when Senator McCarthy became a hero and an ebodiment of everything "patriotic"...when he was an enemy to this nation of ours like no other....it took just one person to say on national television..."Senator, have you no shame"?
A few years later McCarthy died a drunk in the gutter...literally.
If we try to act like we really ARE no threat..when we clearly are not...we strengthen the hand of those who see this as only a first step...don't just remember Simele...remember that the Nazis were voted into office.
