You just missed him. The program started at 6:30pm California time and they started with his interview from jail. Yes, it is the guy you think it is. He was protesting with a group in New York across the UN and was interested on some sort of a technicality. He actually asked to speak with this radio program called 'As it happens' on Canadian public radio. He mentioned 'Gulf of Tonkin' incident briefly. He said he and his group did not set out to get arrested but were prepared to go to jail if that is what it took to get the message across.

Impressive individual. The interview was brief because he was called to leave the cell
