There isn't anything odd or reprehensible in what we choose to call "terrorism". It's tragic and sad...but people will react to protect themselves...look what we did to the already devastated Afghans.
If the United States confined itself to using its massive WMDs againsy only military targets...there might be some basis for us to decry the murder by bullet , starvation or filth, of innocent civilians.
But as we have no qualms against using atom bombs against women and children...and starving Iraqi children to death...where do we come off calling other people terrorists? Especially as it turns out more and more likely that we deliberately push these people...and when they still wont comply...act the part ourselves.
If anyone has any suggestions for the Palestinians to get their legitimate demands...backed up by any number of UN resolutions, met...let's hear it. Barring that...they'll do the best they can with what's at hand...the same thing those who bombed the King David Hotel did...the same thing our own George Washington did.
Let's stop talking like we're all gone goofy.
