Ari what's his name's press conference was a scream. The usually poised Fleisher was tripping all over hisself trying to explain how North Korean lies and missles being sent to Yemen was okay...nothing to worry about...but we had to get Saddam or else all hell would break loose.
The reporters were funny too...several of them visibly flustered by his reasoning...never seen them stop in mid sentance and shrug their shoulders, shake their heads etc. It was a treat.
The people who go on these screaming talk shows must want the exposure so much they go mushy in the head. In the first place, never ever abide by their rules. If you accept the premise of any of their "points", you're screwed to start with and it's only a matter of time before they pull the rug out from under you...just before a station break...and you have it coming too.
When the host says, "well yes, but in our democracy where we value human life..." STOP THEM! Right then and there...say something like, " we do...then how do you explain 3 million Vietnamese dead"? Get THEM explaining and back peddling.
Malcolm X was great at that...he'd turn the tables and get Honky trying to explain himself....and there is no explanation for what was done...not to Blacks...not to Asians...not to Latin Americans, not to Palestinians, not to Jews...and certainly not to Iraqi Assyrians...condoned and paid for by American Assyrians.
