We split and sold out long ago...we went looking for benefits at the feet of others long ago...from that initial split came another and another and another...from Ashur we went to Yahweh and then to Allah...as Christians we've split into every sect imaginable...why is anyone surprised when we can't work together today...why is it so odd that we would sprout groups that are far more in "Opposition" to each other and ourselves, than they are to anyone else?
We break down among ourselves long before we get to any conference..it was that way at Versailles...it was that way just recently...it will always be that way...and there is no remedy...the soul is gone already...long long ago.
Just saying it isn't, doesn't do the job. Our people are good at talking...it's true, that's what distinguishes us as Christian Assyrians...we just can't deliver the goods...and no one, least of all our children, expect us to.
