What I am referring to, however, is an entirely different situation, not in the U.S., but in Iraq. Also, consider for a moment that even here in America, most minority politicians, for example, Hispanics and African-Americans, try to gain political power to help their people redress injustices in our society? ...what injustices are Christians suffering in this country...what are Assyrians suffering in America they dont do to each other and themselves first and foremost... What's wrong with a true minority (in number) trying to help their people in a situation where they are the weakest member of that nation and in danger of extinction? ...like I said...this is the Christian game you boys play. By our people you of course mean Christians..it is actually the Assyrians and their heritage who are in danger in Iraq...Christians are safe everywhere else in the world...and can do anything Assyrian they want to...they choose not to and do Christian things instead. The only people risking extinction of Assyrians...who happen to be Muslim...are the ones who happen to be Christian and learned to feast on human meat and blood...a diet Muslim Assyrians quickly got rid of. The U.S., is directly involved there and in control for the time being. ...shooting people is hardly being in control of anything...I d say it is the Iraqis who run the show...it just costs them a lot in blood to do it. Americans thought they controlled Vietnam too...and also because they killed millions of Vietnamese...murder is not control and human meat isnt a wafer fit to feed to children. Shouldn't we use every avenue to try and help the few Assyrians that remain in our homeland to try and rebuild what they have lost and to protect their interests during this very narrow time frame that remains for us? ...they are all Assyrians...you just mean your Christians...thats all. Our voice is not being heard there (in Iraq) and very few people hear about our people through the media here either. ...a lot of people have now heard about Assyrians because they read about them on a monument...it is only Christian Assyrians who are stopping the others...no Muslim is doing it. Speak up then...GO TO MEDIA IF YOU CARE SO MUCH...hehehehehe I don't think the example of the Councilwoman from Michigan applies here. I shouldn't have called her a phoney Assyrian perhaps, maybe on other issues she does support Assyrians, but from what I have seen, I know I would have used every opportunity available, to help my people if I had the clout she does. ...she has no clout that she needs to show you...she works in a collective body under rules of law and procedure...there isn{t an Assyrian alive who can īplease three Assyrians without having ten others damn him...or her...all that has to happen is for Anna to step on the toes of the followers of Mar One...to have the followers of Mar Two denounce her and write letters and make dics of themselves...do you not know your own history as well as nothing else... > >TNK --------------------- |
