I was using that propaganda from ancient times as an example, could you not see the analogy I was making? I was comparing modern propaganda to ancient propaganda in order to show how what is said on both sides can be exaggerated or misunderstood, not that Assyrians never killed any people or that Armenians and others were never killed by Turkish soldiers, but simple the point that such situations can be blown out of proportion with respect to everything else going on around us is the point I was trying to make. I specifically used that example of "marching off" and even quoted it to show that I did not agree with it- I put quotation marks when I am hesitant or unbelieving of something I am referring to. Of course I don't believe Assyrians were mass murderers, at least not anymore than Israelis or Americans or Iraqis are, so don't worry, I am not fooled by that propaganda- I used that example of "marching off" in order to carry my point that people can exaggerate situations, that's all. I am sorry you thought I believed that propaganda, and I hope it is clear now.
