the Armenians also got what they asked for...by allowing the Brits and the other Christians circling off the Ottoman coast to use them and support them in their efforts to get a homeland...in other words, steal a part of the Ottoman lands as the European Chrisdtians were getting ready to chop up the "sick man of Europe"...something only Christians would do...cut up an old man..

Armenian gunmen took over the central bank in Istanbul with guns and dynamite and threatened to blow themselves and the building up. It was the British ambassador to Turkey...who of course knew what was coming, who "diffused" the situation and got the criminals safely out on his own personal yacht. This and many more efforts by the West to use our credulous belief in "Christian" loyalty resulted in the suspicion and then anger Turks felt for citizens of their own country who would work to undo their neighbors at the behest of outside, European Christians...who`d been attacking Muslims for centuries beginning with the Crusades.

Imagine Muslims in America or Britain working with foreign Muslims nations to attack their own neighbors...Christian neighbors...and think what would ensue.
