That's practicaly what I've diclared. A war against Assyrian leaders and big shots...never mind the intellectuals, they don't and can't count. Rather it's a counter-attack... MOMMY...THEY STARTED IT!!! And just who do I think I am that I do this? I'm an Assyrian, that's who. I'm an Assyrian who resents like hell what's been done and been allowed to be done to this Heritage..one who doesn't see any "enemies" anywhere but these same leaders who come to the Heritage for personal gain, for status, for recognition. And being put together the way they are, have no sense, no style, no vision...nothing but a hunger to be seen as leaders of Assyria, never mind if Assyria becomes toilet. When Assyia can be led by such people, led by the nose...then it's time to clean house.

It is the height of hypocrasy and indecency to do nothing pro-active the year round but step forward when there's a chance to secure some prestige for oneself over a "tragedy". Had Iraqis not been killed by America, Narsai David would have done nothing more "Assyrian" than continue to make sausages and hump his mother for all she's worth. Jackie was at her best, champagne in hand, when Assyrians...read:Christians, were getting hammered or needed to have their deaths commemorated. Nimrod's been senile since he was 14 and of course can't tell that he is...and he never did count anywhere.

I was admonished each time I spoke at an AANF banquet about the monuments, not to suggest or ask for any funds, for something as worthwhile and lasting as Assyrian public monuments. Yet Sargon Lewie, when he was president, presided over the most humiliating fund raiser from the podium, pushing people to give $25.00, "For Assyria". Then he took the money back personally...through Geneva. All Assyrian leaders on their way anywhere stop at the red light district in Geneva. It's a holey pilgrimage with them...and after all, our illustrious leader of Assyria at the time owned two porn video stores in Chicago.

I feel it in me bones that we have a tremendous amount of untapped potential among our young people. And I know from personal experience what these leaders will try to do to these young people if they ever catch them attempting to develop their potential...they'll crucify them. Barring that, they'll bore them to death and so discourage them by leading them to believe that THIS is Assyria, as to chase them away...which is a shame...a terrible and unforgiveable shame. In these young Assyrians passions are not yet focused...don't yet have a voice. Feelings are strong but chaotic or uncoordinated. It's JUST the time when the proper kind of inspiration can make them..and the wrong message can break them. Their only hope is to skip over the hoary heads of these leaders..but these same leaders will reach up to try to trip them. They will not go "gentle into that night"...but have to be shoved out kicking, screaming and saluting the flag for all they're worth.

People such as Jackie, Nimrod, Golani and Narsai, to name a few, aren't in it for the long haul...it isn't a passion with them...it's a hobby and they'll dabble at it only so long as the balance comes out way in their favor. So I'm doing my part to make the going tougher for them. Narsai has two choices...and I gave them both to him. He can quit when he starts feeling the pressure...or he can stay on determined to prove me wrong. Either way, we win. if he stays it will only be because he's found a new determination and he's stopped figuring everything in dollars and cents and how "easy" things should be for him now that his dough is falling at both ends. If he goes, the better he makes the point...that where there's that kind of piss warm, mealy-mouthed Assyrianism...the kind that always seeks out whatever benefits the individual and lets the rest of us feed on the leavings, there is more harm done ultimately than good.

These people are all ambulance chasers...sniffing the air for blood...listenning to the news for disasters. That's not something a leader does. The leader of a moutain climbing expedition doesn't stock up on bandages and wait in the camp below, not having given a thought to the condition of the climbers and their equipment...but at the ready to rush out should all of them go tumbling over the edge. That's what we have in Narsai, Jackie and the rest. Had there been no Iraq War...there would have been no "leaders to shit"...hence, no Leadershit.

Narsai could have paved the way for all sorts of Assyrian PRO-ACTIVE events...but, "why should I make you famous"? Imagine a film or stage director who felt that way about the actors, writers and tech crew in a production. What would he produce? He'd produce a flop called "Assyria". Narsai helped developed the Berkeley Repertory Theatre. he knows a director has a part to play...but the actors and others have to have their space to shine in also. If the director insists on being the stars of the show and everything else its a sure flop. Yet when it comes to Assyria, people like Jackie and Narsai have to direct and call all the shots or, what's in it for them? Even an Alphonse Odishoo has to make sure to leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth by reciting his stupid poem at the end of an evening of real poetry by two of our best.

We have many Assyrians who know exactly what I'm talking about...who "agree" with me. But what good does that do? What's the point of knowing the right thing to do but not doing it? In many ways that's worse than just being too stupid to know any better. I'm not unique...many agree with what I say. I'm just the first diclare war right back on these dics.
