It had all begun after the US had been kicked out of Iraq. The subsequent record deficit along with the OPEC oil embargo of 2009 broke the back of the US economy. Without a strong economy to sustain their “war machine” US power withered and retreated following in the footsteps of the former USSR.
The year is 2023 and the new superpower China has just captured the island of Cuba after the world’s oldest leader, Fidel Castro, requested military support to free his country.
After a brief clash with reluctant US forces the Chinese finally captured the island and opened camp X-ray at Guantanimo Bay.
Torture and executions had taken place here since the start of the so-called war on terror. After releasing the prisoners China TV journalists were on the scene to broadcast this historical event live to the world.
Then emerging after 15 years of captivity was Peter Warda someone describing himself as an Assyrian. When asked to comment on his captivity he provided our reporter Wing Lee with the following comments.

“First they came for the Iraqis, but I was not a stinking Muslim-Iraqi, so I said nothing. Hell, I even helped them by pointing out some suspects to the FBI. Then they came for the Syrians, but I was not an Arab-Syrian, I celebrated all night when they finally starved, bombed and captured Damascus, so I did nothing. Then they came for the Iranians, but I was not a religous-fundamentalist-Iranian, besides I was busy marching to support the war in Chicago. And then they came for the Arab-Saudis, but I was not an Arab-Saudi, so I did little, I even thought it was about time that they got their deserts.
Then, there must have been a computer error, when they finally came for me, there was no one left to speak up.”
