Translation; Assyria began as a city state and expanded to a full blown Empire that was accepting of all tribes, religions and cultures. During hundreds of years that the Assyrian Empire ruled the Middle East there was wide spread a intermarriage and assimilation of all the surrounding tribes, peoples and nations, who may have been the ancient ancestors of the modern Arabs, Persians, Kurds and Arabs. Conclusion; There was no wholesale genocide after the Assyrian Empire fell. The Assyrians were forced to convert to Christianity adopt a Jewish identity and then forced to convert to Islam and adopt an Arab identity. --------------------- |
