> > >Receiving the Eucharist is not cannabalism because our Blessed Lord is sacramentally present. ...okay...these words have meaning to sect members...none to the rest of us. You have to define it to the satisfaction of those asking the question...not those believing it in the first place..what the hell does "sacramentally present " mean anyway? No one says the apostles ate him at the last supper...we know that the bread and wine he offred up then was symbollic...but of WHAT!!! Why not eat flowers instead.,..why human meat and blood? Why play at these sorts of symbols? At the Last Supper the Apostles beheld Him in His physical appearance as they always had, but they also beheld Him in His sacramental presence under the appearance of bread and wine. When we receive Holy Communion we don't eat part of an arm or finger because He is sacramentally present. The bread and the wine actually become His Body and Blood, but His presence is only physical in the way bread and wine are physical and not in the way that one's body and blood are phsycial. ...this is why you people all kill each other...you do not clarify...you make more obscure and call THAT Holy and a Mystery. There is no mysrery at all...there is no explantion ever given for why one should chhose cannibalism, or the best approximation to it any of us have ever heard of, and then spend 2000 years expalining it ISNīT when only those doofus enough to do it in the first place understand the "reasons" given...and to our direct questions all we get is Christian dogma some more...I UNDERSTAND all of the above...I want to know WHY CANNIBALISM; and then WHY ALL THE ARGUMENTS about how it IS NOT CANNIBALISM. What is the original intent? There is nothing else like the Eucharist. He is present in the Eucharist in a truly unique way. But then He is unique is so many ways. ..yeah yeah we know that. > >The Eucharist remains that miraculous memorial in which Jesus truly becomes our food, His Passion is recalled and the soul is filled with grace. As Saint Thomas Aquinas noted, the Eucharsit remains for us a continual consolation and His greatest miracle. ...and you remain the bloodiest damn people the world has ever seen...with most of your graduates getting it just "wrong enough" for you ALL to have ammassed the wealth you donīt know how much you have ...and the power too...who you kidding? no it doesnīt...it remains the practise of symbollic cannibalism that you go to great unlengths to prove isnīt...when only those who partake of the disgusting thing can be expected to follow your "arguments"...try talking like your head WASNīT in the clouds. > >Fr.
