> >I don't believe in killing or hurting or bombing anyone. I don't agree with those policies. Are we talking about U.S. military policy or are we talking about the Christian Sacrament of Holy Communion? Why one should choose Cannibalism? I don't choose cannibalism because I don't see it as cannibalism, even though I understand what you say when you describe it that way. ...Madeliene Albright didn`t see it as infanticide either...it was just "policy". To the Catholic Germans, those weren`t humans they were killing, they were the same sort of inhumane people I am..people who will not accept Jesus as any kind of a God...and worse...people your church blames for killing Christ. What YOU choose to call something means nothing...if it goes contrary to human law...and there was no law to justify the attack on Iraq...none at all...that`s why God was invoked and dragged out of his closet. ..You may personally be on the side of the Mafia that doesn`t do the actual killing...but your compliance and complicity in the things that keep it humming...keep it attracting new gang members because of the prissy and sweet way you present it...makes sure they`ll always the numbers of gang members they need from which they can get the wrong kind...because the wrong kind make the whole thing work. It is nothing but Roman brutality with a twist of treacle... I can only say that what you see as a purely physical act of consuming flesh and blood, I see as a spiritual action hidden within the substance of the Lord's flesh and blood. ...like I said...you can see it any way you want to...just get caught actually eating any lord`s meat and tell your spititual goop to the judge. We humans do not tolerate cannibalism under ANY circumstances...apparently your God likes it. Beyond that, if I try to explain it in historically religious terms, you will say I'm indulging in dogma and religious hocus pocus. Besides, from what you have already said you are familiar with the explanations from the Church's perspective, so it would be useless to repeat it. ...I undertsand the Church`s policy on allowing the Jews to live but keeping them in a constant state of fear for 1500 years too...and teaching that they killed Christ...I also understand how this policy, repeated often enough FINALLY found the right wrong people to implement it to its logical end...and the creation of Israel is another step in that final "policy"...like starving to death 500,000 beautiful Assyrian children is a FIRST step in another "policy". All of these crimes are made that much easier because the church knows it can find a contingent of blissful idiots who`ll go no further than..."I always do what my holy father tells me to". You, sir, are the greatest sorts of threat Humanity has ever faced...because you can be made into a monster by a God. Sin against an infinitely Good Creator is infinite in its malice and, therefore, deserving of infinite punishment. ...there is no such thing as sin...there is crime and we have ways of dealing with it. Sin is your own invention as is your god and if you mean THAT creator of the bible is "infinitely good"...then you have no soul to redeem...you`re as bad as he is. I don't like it, but it makes sense to me. I wish everyone could be saved, but the key to understanding it, FOR ME, is FREE WILL. ...you repeat...you repeat FREE WILL too like you understood it. All your ideas were chwewed for you by others...that`s why you`re reduced to foot-stomping fits of rage---for which you "atone" by returning with your "good" face on...it is all an act...your beliefs are barely skin deep...you`re all like that..it`s the reason you all repeat things over and over...as if to quell the screaming inadequacy of these paltry beliefs to satisfy the raging fears your same Church put in you. Nothing you believe matters to you a damn...you have fought and lived for none of it...rather it came with milk and cookies and so you LIKE the cozy feeling...like Saturday morning cartoons in your jammies...Kid. I just don't see any way around it. Believe me, if I saw a way around it, I would take that path. That seems to me to be the easier path altogether. Why wouldn't I take it? Fear of the consequences of rebelling against God is definitely a factor. The "fear of God is the beginning of Wisdon." Why? Because God is Holy and All Good. ...bullshit...this is just the dogma of your soccer team...means nothing to millions of people who have their own and don`t need yours. Fear can be good. I'm afraid to stand in front of traffic on an Expressway, I'm afraid of jumping off of the Empire State Building, I'm afraid of jumping into shark-infested waters. I'm afraid of robbing a bank. ...these are all logical...no one who is sane will argue...list your other fears..that if you don`t eat meat and drink blood you wont go live on a cloud...see what kind of reception that gets...stop mixing the sensible with the irrational...stay on one side of the street...you already said you buy this stuff...well alright then...keep your examples coming from THAT stuff... Fear of logical or just consequences protects us from those consequences. I am trying to see the BIG PICTURE, and not simply focus on the unpleasant details. I understand what you are saying, but I DON'T SEE ANYWAY AROUND IT. I'm not willing to take the plunge into the unknown on the easier route that says we are all gods and can do what ever we please, without suffering the consequences. ...it was never easy to refuse your religion...you blinded people, tortured them...rippped babies from wombs, burned people, locked them in cages for years...and still they refused...it would have been far easier to give in and eat the meat and blood...you are a dishonest person when you try your hardest to sound plaintive and resonable and good...these tricks worked on you...they don`t work on everyone. To tread this path is a lot harder for us and you know it damn well...because YOUR church has made sure to make it as hard as it could...you`re simply trying to sneak something in the back door you think we won`t see...that it`s easy and lazy to question and dare the thunderbolt of that madman, then to give in to FEAR. You think of us all as libertines sipping beers and relaxing while Christians like you do the heavy lifting, the "agonizing" and the "pondering" with hairshirts on your heads...when you`re the ones living in the lap of luxury paid from all those small donations Andy needs. You are a moral coward...if that strikes you as an insult...so be it. You are insulting me everytime you open your mouth..but since god pulls your strings, you excuse yourself. So, maybe that makes me a coward... I don't know. ...you don`t know anything...but take my word for it...until you go out and find out who you are...you are indeed a coward...but take comfort...so are the rest of the people surrounding you. You are popular. --------------------- |
