The bill was blocked, but not because of democrats. Some of these republocrats votes for the bill, but 6 brave republicans voted to filibuster. Spencer Abraham, the man who got most of the Arab and Chaldean votes in Michigan when he ran for senate against Debbie Stabenow and lost, is the secretary of energy, the new "uncle tom". Not only does bush have uncle tom "Condi Rice", uncle tom "Colon Powell", and others, but he has the Arab uncle tom "Spencer Abraham" to tell the American people that by giving big oil and big energy companies 25 billion dollars and by passing a law that lets them pollute the air, water, and not be liable, that this helps the american public... hmm? AERR'B Spencer Abraham. ............................................. Farid wrote: >repubs and dems belong to one party...BIDNESS. They just take turns so we don't get too used to or disgusted with both of them and see what they're up to...which is the same thing in essence...we're getting fooled by inconseqientials...the real story is how American is being sold out from under the American People...and just like people work at industires that kill and maim and cripple and ruin their own air and water...they'll work for a political system that does the same. --------------------- -- Eunuch (aka Jeff) |
