you`re right. Hope springs eternal. You would think the Nuremburg Trials would have set the very important precedent they were supposed to...not just punishing the losers but trying to create guidelines for people of conscience to be able to refuse murderous calls to patriotism...and god of course. There is alway hope...but so long as the United States funds it and owns it...fat chance. I don`t know what it will take for nations to obey the laws they impose on their citizens...it`s still the law of the jungle out there...I guess the people must want it that way...laws and rules, even in a Tyranny really do come from below. One thing about this scandal article bothers me...why and how was any money from the UN going to Saddam`s family? Who would have structured it that way? What could Saddam have done to influence them to structure it that way? It`s a pretty provocative statement to just drop there. --------------------- |
