I was thinking that maybe the UN could evolve like the US Constitution has. The analogy seems fitting enough. The US Constitution began with slavery, no rights for women, etc. and look how many countries it has inspired and how the meaning of its words has grown and been interpreted. It began with an injustice, but one day will reach something close to perfection.

The UN began essentially with the injustice of the stupid "partition plan" and continues up to this day... but along the way I think it has evolved...and look at how Germany and France stood up to the US before this recent war... I know... it didn't stop the war but at least they showed the world that they didn't agree. Perhaps in the future it will evolve in a positive way in a similar manner as the constitution has.
