when the rest of these interchangeable shmucks have long been forgotten, Fidel Castro will shine as a man who literally put his life on the line...and then stuck it out to do the difficult, tedious work, made that much harder by the United States..that denotes a person of unshakable convictions. It has been the United States all along that`s made sure Castro had to keep tight reign over Cuba..lest some "Free and Democratic" movement based in Langley and funded by our government attempted his "legal" overthrow. Castro didn`t fight that long to be a dictator...but an iron hand is all that kept the United States out..although, as he says...the naval base at Guantanamo..meaning on Cuban soil...has been there all along and has been a base for all sorts of mischief and travesties...so how deadly dangerous was Castro if he couldn`t even get that fucking base out of his country? My Russian friend said it best..."You think WE are brainwashed??? We KNOW our government is lying..it is you Americans who are fools and fooled into trusting your government" His compatriots called him "El Caballo"...the horse. Vive Castro...a great Assyrian if there ever was one. --------------------- |
