Well, here's to your sex life. Yes it is the lotus...I assume it's blue. It appears in everybody's art in some fashion...I heard it was a symbol of longevity too...which I suppose, if you get all that good sex it gives, it couldn't hurt. I forgot to post the photo of what the clay looked like when I pulled it out of there. Anyway I'm off to Dolores Hidalgo, the town that started the Revolution and then went on to become a leading manufacturing center of ceramics.
