Hi M.A.W, How have you been? I miss you. I phoned your place a couple of months ago your dad told me you're still in Egypt. We still have this mistaken belief that we can somehow steal a piece of land in Bet Nahrain, with the help of the yanks and establish a homeland. the Chaldeans are important for this very reason because without them we have barely enough Assyrians in Iraq to establish a basketball team muchtheless a nation. Our modern history has been one of persecution and upheavel and I understand why their goal is autonomy, but we should step back a little and attempt to understand that all the people of Iraq are ethnically the same people. Our goal should be the maintenance of our Iraq's ancient Assyrian culture, language and customs as a part of the rich tapestry of Iraqi culture and history.
