I think some of our patriots should quit during instructions.

I mean the questions, "Am I a real Assyrian," is in itself wrong.

Our ancient ancestors ruled an EMPIRE, not a State, not a village and definately not a Judeo-Christian church.

The Assyrian Empire, at it's heart, consisted of people from the city of Ashur but came to incorporate nearly all the people if the Middle East. Being a cosmopolitan and accepting people our ancestors used the resettlement of troublesome tribes throughout the Empire as a tool in order to assist in their assimilation and eventual co-operation with the Assyrian majority.

During the hundreds of years of Assyrian rule the Assyrian neighbours, which included ancient Arabs, Turks, Armenians, Persians, Phoenicians etc. all mixed their blood with our peoples'.

When Jude0-Christianity and Islam entered the scene the Christian minority simply used their religion as a barrier in order to prevent assimilation intoi the Islamic majority...........remaining to this day stuck in Christian amber.
