No wonder Asstians (I'm tired of writing out "Christian Assyrians" each time)with any sense go screaming in the night...especially the ones who can read and write or know where their pants go. The kind of "points" my own darlin Cheetah of a Shamiram makes as well as all the other politiKayi and democratiKayi are nothing short of insane. What in god's name are they all talking about? Who COULD take any of them seriously? We're so stuck in our own folly we don't recognize it...like being born into Bedlam and raised by ten Napoleons and fourteen Cleopatras...how would you KNOW your little world was peopled by Crazies and Loonies especially after you reached 18 and believed with all your heart you were Bismarck?

They're all arguing about what exsits on Mars...or if the first monkey 10 million years ago prefered bananas or tea with her steak sandwich. All you want to say is..."Huh"?...when they give their "proves"...or make diclarations. Aren't they embarrassed...aren't they even a little ashamed? How did the Assyrian Heritage ever become the final resting place for these scoundrels and rascals...how?

They've driven away almost every one of us who can stand upright and point to his own nose. If you suggest that a cultural center would be a good thing...even without a culture, they come back with demands for a Parliament...or wanting to share in a country they don't own one back alley in. The most senseless of all their "positions" is this claim to an Assyrian inheritnce...as in "give me your house because my Grandfather Ashurbanipal lived here first". These guys probably provide entertainment for busy and harrassed Statesmen...who's secretaries must be elated when another diclaration comes in...or a letter expressing "sapport fer yur pitooeys, Mr. President! Mr President!" On top of all this we get wandering incidental nuts like Andreas and now Alex who think we should bone up on Guam...as a way of rounding out our Assyrianismness.

The sad truth is that whatever remains in the world of an Assyrian Heritage is in Iraq being starved and shelled and occupied by the very same Christians our own go running to each time...starting way back when oil was first discovered. Yet if you bring that up they act like YOU'RE the crazy one.

It would be an unrelieved tragedy if it weren't so damn funny at the same time.
