So in the same week my grandmother makes a batch of sesame seed cookies and my roommate's sister also makes a batch of her grandmother's sesame seed cookie recipe. It's strange...they look almost the same and taste the same. The difference? My roommate's grandmother is very very Italian, and mine is very very Chaldean...so it sort of makes you wonder if maybe all cultures really share all recipes and everything else and they all just vary a little bit? ...or perhaps it's just a coincidence. --------------------- |
