Seeing that i dont live in a cave, or am separated from this world, or up my ass (ahem fred), i can see that the Assyrian people are very very very happy with the religion. The majority of Assyrians are not only happy but are proud of their religious heritage. Yes you can be ignorant about it, but for all of you that have Assyrian family and relatives and friends you can see how the majority of those praise and love their religion. With that you can easily and effortlessly say that our culture is grounded in Christianity. I mean there hasnt been one Assyrian party or get together that Church politics have sprung up. We all have our opinions on how the church should tackle issues...i.e the Assyro-Chaldo name, the fucked up California situation, and the Mar Andreous situation in Chicago. But most importantly, the UN and major governments not only consider us a ethnic minority but also a religious minority. Due to our strong hold of Christianity, not the other way around fuckers. I follow Christianity, its my choice.

Look at peabrain Fred, he chooses the follow islam or whatever he believes in. He is an Assyrian........but he chooses not to follow Christianity. Does Christianity suppress Assyrians...NO. We choose to follow...thats why our ehtnicity is grounded in Christianity due to so many of our traditions that are taken from Christianity. Easter, Rogation of the Ninevites, the 50 day fast.

The funny thing is that the Arab culture is more grounded in Islam than our culture is to Christianity. Looks who calling fanaticism. HMM no one besides the Arabs can ever master in fanaticism. Of course if they kill civilians they will get into heaven......wow what a peaceful religion. btw Mohammed was a molester......thats why we call him Mohammed the Molester FYI of course
