it makes sense that corporations would buy up the news outlets. They`re used to getting people to believe that toothpaste makes you popular, this cigarette tastes better, as you die, than that one, this car will make a man/woman out of you better than that car..they also tell you things like.."we just found a new way to serve you better" when what they mean is we found another way to fleece you..and people buy it all..what`s the difference between a cartoon showing a hammer hitting dome guy`s brain..then the aspirin of choice starts moving in arrows towards the offending hammer..and the whole thing stops and "health " is restored..and research shows when you go to the store you buy the brand that had the best cartoon..that`s what they`re doing with maps of Iraq right now..there`s the red zone where the headache is..here come the green American arrows...straight arrows all of them..and the red zone shrinks to nothing...American pills taken twice a day cure the world`s headaches. If you`ll believe one..and spend your hard earned cash on this pill instead of that one..both of them made by the same company "just in case"...why won`t you spend your hard earned tax dollars on whoever gives you the greatest cartoon version of yourself, Republican or Democrat, since they`re the same pill anyway? It`s just marketing after all. --------------------- |
