here`s our old friend the gorgeous Assyrian Vase. I`ve about got it half done...the thing is a killer...but it makes you weep, it`s so pretty. It`s in fired ceramic and even though the red clay here is soft...like in Betnahrain..and low-fire...it stills ruins the files I use to sharpen and incise the lines better.

They made only one of each...or maybe not. But the colors are outlined in black...and since I plan to make several and get stinking rich ripping off Assyrians and anyone else I can get my hands on...I can`t expect to have people who apply the color outline each color...so the raised lines can be stained black when the whole thing is finished and since there won`t be any glaze color on the tops of the lines...the little "fences"... they`ll all be dyed black...and it also makes applying the other colors easier..a sort of paint-by-numbers we traitors favor.

There are plenty of fine gift shops all over the world where this and others would be welcome...so while Hanna is tatooing "JESUS DIED SO I WOULDN`T" on the cadaverous bods of several babes...I`ll be at the old stand trying to sell Assyria down the river.
