Why, I wonder, can people not discuss. I always believed that if I hang up the phone on someone...or leave a room because I don´t know what to say..or refuse to enter a discussion for the same reason...or lock the door so someone who disagrees with me can´t come in...or get out...that I{m addmitting defeat...to myself first of all and then to those around me.

I see the kid, starry eyed and all...unable to conduct hisself like a civilized person...even though he doesn´t swear and is most respectful..as if being NICE wins you points anywhere and negates the needs for you to make any sense. The guy consistently refuses to answer anything but what he THINKS he´s answered...and then it´s all one big tautaulogy anyway with him saying Christianity is good because it is Christianity, which, as everyone knows, is good,,,so therefor we can conclude that Chriatianity MUST be good because otherwise would so many people agree that it IS. And all the while we have no idea what we´re talking about.

Like Augustine´s assinine PROOF that god exists and asks you to first accept that god exists...at the very outset or he can´t prove god exists.

There´s a sort of selectivity the Kid uses...which I don´t understand. To me, if I{m going to weigh something...examine something or refute something, I have to address ALL of it...like if you want to complete a puzzle you must fit all the pieces...not throw away the ones that stump you. I think the reason is Christianity again...comes from reading the bible and trying to keep from gagging. Everybody seems qualified to edit that book, skip whole chapters, re-write and re-explain god´s words and pick and choose what suits them. They toss 14 chapters for being too bloody...another three for being laughable...take out several paragraphs from ten more and eviscerate whole sub-chapters...then pull from the mess a line like...love one another and say THERE!!! I TOLD you there was sheer beauty and god´s own voice in there...somewhere!

And that{s how they approcah any discussion. The Kid ignores whatever he doesn{t like...which, as I´m not pushing a belief in god, doesn´t include butchery and cannibalism...just Reason and Logic and Temperance and Proportionality and all the things the Church killed thousands of people for expressing. Then he picks what he thinks he can respond to and then gets pissed at me if I dare continue to argue with a guy who...AGREED with me before.

This is what I am talking about...this is how you unhinge people and STILL leave them thinking they are thinking.
