From the time Islam invaded Spain and held the southern portion of it till they were dislodged in 1400 or so, 650 years later, the Moors had the highest civilization in all of Europe. Cordoba had street lighting, plumbing, public bath houses on every corner...they had the finest metal and tile work both there and in Toledo in all of Europe as well the first hospitals, museums and universities where science, mathematics, geography, cartology and every conceivable subject was taught. They brought with them fruits and vegetables never heard of in Europe before as well as the refined and well established agricultural techniques perfected i BetNahrain with which Europe eventually learned to feed itself... and between their influence and the impact of Islamic culture on the returning Crusaders, Europe saw there were other and better ways to live that the wiser ones among them were eager to learn.

In all this time the Church terrorized its own people, the Sorbonne regularly committed books and their authors to the flames...and not books that attacked their religion, as who would dare, but any books that expanded on science and knowledge for the Church far preferred to promote its deadly brand of obscurantism keeping the people ignorant and living in fear of "god's fury...that same old desert dwelling Yahwe...the greatest serial killer of all time, than allow for any growth and development because wiser people would be less religious people. Under resurgent Catholicism Spain gave us the Inquisition and became a backwater of European culture, getting rid of their last Fascist Christian Dictator barely 25 years ago. Thankfully, in time, the people of Europe were able to muzzle their churches and join the rest of modern civilization which Islam first brought to them and which it copied and refined from us.

We are very proud that we are "true" Christians. That while the West has practised the "wrong kind", the kick-ass kind...we have been piously following in Christ's footsteps...for ours is the "get-kicked" kind and we're very pleased with our bruises. The only trouble is, given our brand of Christianity which is closer to Jesus' own brand, as we never tire of repeating like it was an asset, we've gotten exactly what Jesus got...we've been "crucified" as we also never tire of saying and are systematically being driven out of our own Holy Lands to go be Christian in the West...we will do nothing Assyrian, it seems, anywhere.

We clamor and beg to be taken to good old Abraham's bosum and we've made the earth a vale of tears for our children, hurrying them along to heaven as well. "Take us oh Lord...take us on up there, for down here it's all failure and humiliation and scourging...just like you got".

Except at the last minute we run to the West, to the arms of the "wrong" kind of Christianity for protection...to the ones who got it wrong...who had no intention and have no intention of being crucified by anybody or for anybody...and we cheer them on and applaud them...to do what? To make Assyria strong? To promote Assyrianism? No...we want them to go kill all the Muslims they can...and return BetNahrain to Christ, no matter how many children get killed in the process. And we still maintain we're the right kind of Christian...following in Christ's footsteps.

No one stops us in the West from promoting and protecting our Assyrian Heritage...as the Ashurbanipal Monument proves...and no Muslim or Turk stops or stands in our way...in fact, on the contrary, the only people to trip us up are other Assyrians as the monument of Shumirum so well proves. No one would stop us from building a huge complex of buildings all dedicted to promoting the Assyrian Heritage, or organizing a dance or music company or building a univeristy, or producing a film. But we do none of these things.
We promote what's dearest to our hearts, our Christian religion...and claim it's all the same as promoting Assyrian culture. NO people on earth promote their religion and then call it a day. NO people have churches, more churches and only churches. Ours is ONLY a religious culture and ultimately it is a Jewish culture...names, god and all. It's been grafted onto an ancient Assyrian culture we can only guess at, when we have any interest in that sort of thing...but over the centuries church culture has replaced all else...as you can see from the evidence today that this is all we care about...all we do...all we emphasize and sweat over and die for.

It's a little imbalanced to say the least...that way stagnation lies and look and listen to us. Over at aina Peter The Rabbit is frantically fighting the control panel to keep out any sunshine...any challenging thoughts, at one time banning all computers from any Kinkos from California to Arizona, New Mexico and Texas just so I couldn't post over there. This is Assyrian strength? Or is it Christian incompetance, fear and a love of ignorance? Instead it's been a steady diet of unfounded "facts" followed by virulent racist attacks... trite and bland posturing...self-conscious poses and purple prose...windy proclamations, dire warnings etc... about how great we are today and what is owed to us..."so won't someone please give these GRAT Peepil a hand-out".

Peter and Hanna are nothing more than the Public Hangman of Medeival Christian Europe who would consign books to the flames or the weak-minded Nazis who loved to warm themselves by the glow of book-burnings...only they use their delete buttons. It failed back then...it will fail today, it will always fail...for these actions produce weak-headed people who produce empty-headed children who die out eventually all on their own if they don't get pushed aside.

When was land EVER returned to anyone that we're still chasing this phantom? Let me guess, the Jews...again?
