Consider...we have several Christians living in the MidEast...Christianity adopted the Aramaic language because Christ spoke it and the liturgy is in that language...which everyone in that region spoke back then so the language is hardly an indicator of ethnicity or anything except, in this case, the common language of the region and the religions in it...till Islam came bringing Arabic and then that became the langage of the region and several Christians within it too, besides of curse the langage of the ruling majority...as Latin became the liturgical language of Europe simply because the people who murdered Jesus and then made it pay spoke it...and Greek became the language of the Orthodox Church because that was the language spoken by the Eastern Roman Empire. Language, in none of these cases, is anything but an accident of history. Had Christ spoken Chinese we'd have another set of headaches entirely.

There is no reason in the world to assume Christianity is any indicator of ethnicity or use it to brand its practitioners in the Mideast as Assyrians. Where's the connection? Who can prove all Assyrians turned Christian and only Christian? And for villagers to claim that their holidays and food and who knows what else HAS to be Assyrian because they are CHRISTIANS is just chasing your tail to nowhere.

This silly argument can't stand the light of day...it is made of such flimsy stuff that it collapses on it's own with the slightest breeze...and if anyone doubts its validity, as who can help it, then it's as simple as calling that person an idiot or a Traitor to wipe away all doubts...they wish. It turns out that THEY are the ones behaving like idiots with their PROVES and their banning and deleting...if there was the slightest merit to the argument or it could stand the slightest push they wouldn't be hiding in their ghettos...rather they'd be eager and willing to take on any and all challengers...which is what WE do. And they are the ones who actually play the part of REAL traitors by encouraging illegal attacks on their own homeland...while we who question them are being true to those lands and the only "treachery' we practise is not buying their "facts"...facts that can't stand on their own anyway.

But the most glaring flaw is in what Ben just said. I can see them now e-mailing each other that SOMETHING has to be said to this Phranahand jerk...that his ideas can't just be LEFT there without some sort of decisive rebuttal...so they thought and they thought and then they drank some tea and thought some more...three kipti later they were still at it...a bit of baklawa and tea after that and someone, maybe it was Ben, came up with..."Pharnahand only respects dead people...he hates LIVING Assyrians", as a way to explain away the Ashurbanipal Monument...like modern Assyrians build churches, which are modern "Assyrian" buildings, while that idiot Pharnahand builds dead monuments to long dead people "modern" Assyrians aren't interested in and just maybe are ashamed of.

It's interesting that to shoot me down they think to slander me with "respecting dead Assyrians" of the distant past. Now that's odd...does it mean they don't? Is there something wrong or strange in respecting our ancestors? I don't mean the Church Friggers, I mean the ASSYRIANS...before that lone Jew converted us all. How does it insult me to say I respect my Heritage...ALL of it? Without intending to they reveal their own feelings towards what "only I", apparently, respect...for if it's a flaw in me that I do, I suppose they're pleased they don't.

Which leaves us with what? It leaves us with Christians revering Christians...nothing wrong with that...it's as natural and to be expected as Jews respecting Jews and Assyrians loving Assyrians..and I do. Show me a living Assyrian and I'll respect him or her too, if they are worthy. I'm sure we had plenty of rat-bastard Assyrians back then too. No one gets a free ride for being Assyrian. There are plenty of Assyrians living today worthy of respect...and many are Christians...so?

But THESE Christians have no use for anything Assyrian. These Christians are opportunists who want to score points against Islam, blaming it for their own personal failures and so they invented the fiction that the lands belong to them...that they can prove they are the indigenous people and the ONLY ones because they are Christians...which makes no sense at all. Hell...anyone who is really Assyrian accepts the greatness that was Assyria and sees clearly that it was BetNahrain that ultimately conquered the Arabs and not the other way around. We indeed didn't "disappear"...not from history and NOT into those fucking villages to hide. That the magnificent empire Islam built was inspired by our cultures and constructed in large part by our own people, only they turned Muslim, should be cause for pride. Their mean-spirited advocacy of their own RELIGION over the entire HERITAGE is the only thing that truly inspires the boys, that and blaing all Islam for their own failures...let all of Iraq become exclusively Muslim and our boys would just as soon see the whole "dear" land blown to bits.

If you are Assyrian it matters not at all which other religion your fellows turned to...what counts to you is that they turned AWAY from their own, though we Assyrians are a forgiving lot and don't hold it against anyone because back then all religions were welcomed by Assyrians...till the boys come bringing war to all of us over ONE religion...a murderous intolerance they leaned from the Hebrews of old. Our boys are still bragging that a bunch of them hit the road and ran all the way to China and Mongolia...to do what...enhance and expand on Assyrian culture and inventions or go work for a Jew? An Assyrian doesn't want those lands blown up or any Assyrians killed, or anyone else, because of their religions especially. If you respect the concept of god, you respect all gods and the people who developed their beliefs as you did yours. Killing people for believing in the "wrong" god is just a way to smooth over murder and theft. Any reasonable, humane and law-abiding Assyrian, even Christian-Assyrian has always been welcome in Iraq, as they were in Turkey and everywhere else and many, many of them flourished and did just fine.

It was Christianity that finally killed and cooked the Jews and it has been Christianity that's been attacking Islam for centuries. Jews NEVER attacked Christians and neither have Muslims in the last 200 years at least. It's been a Christian war machine all the way.

If you consider how often Chrisianity has been the open doorway by which foreigners have entered and brought war or divided us up some more...like the European missionaries who tore us this way and that in the late 19th century...and then the unprovoked attack by the Christian West on Turkey and the dismemberment of its empire and the complicity of Christian Levies with the Christians who occupied Iraq...it would be most understandable that officials there would keep a wary eye on these sorts of Dicheads with their Diclarations and their desire to teach their "dear" language and thereby spread this nonsense...a DEAR language they care nothing for when they leave and go to the West and could teach it any ten ways they wanted but don't, because it wouldn't serve their real "cause", which is spreading the church's nonsense that Islam HATES ASSYRIANS, to cover over the fact that Islam has every reason to distrust and despise THE CHURCH which lends itself to these attacks and hopes to benefit from them, as a means of winning pity from someone who'll come "save" them, meaning the West, when Islam has every good reason to dislike and be suspicious of CHRISTIANS who spread this stuff and NO reason whatsoever to hate Assyrians whom they recognize and revere as ther own ancestors...and everyone there knows it and isn't about to let it happen, now more than ever

And this last Crusade just makes the point all that much stronger. Here, once again, ex-patriot Christians were cheering on the destruction of the lands...begging and helping an invading enemy again and working for the occupying forces again...and I wouldn't be surprised if down the road some Christian jackasses aren't "inspired" to foment an uprising, confident that the West will "save Christians"...maybe history will completely repeat itself and they'll do it in Simele...again.

Afer this last war, Christians are going to be even more suspect and held in greater contempt than ever with an even tighter leash applied to their necks. For them to think that NOW is the perfect time and golden opportunity to press for demands and guarantees and "their rights", as Christians no less and make a great show of combing through the wreckage for signs of any injured Christians...when it was Christians who brought the war to them in the first place...well, you have to be as stupid as these people are to do these things and believe in them.

It's a fool's game and no one better suited to play it than these boys of ours. The trouble is they make trouble for those of us still back there or those who wish for peace. These people want blood...revenge is the "right" they're refering to. As they keep telling us...they are REAL Christians.
