which does not glorify Islam, it shows countries under extremists regimes in the middle east to have an agenda of hate and oppression, even to their own women... how does that glorify Islam... unless you think opressing and persectuing your own mothers, wives, daughters and sisters are glorious... i think it is despicable and that was my point... what is your problem? Perhpas johnston is farid and it does sound like his writing style and view point but how can you reply to this post by a woman and say that based on a one sentence post showing how viley the people that johnston was glorifying treat their women which to me is systematic of something fundamentally wrong with that culture for if you treat your mother, daughter, wife and sister like second class citizens at best and like nonentities at worse, then those men loose the nurturing feminine aspects of societies that God created in all humans to give us balance... and in my opinion, that is at the root of all the problems in the middle east... and if you think pointing that out is against Assyrians then God help Assyrian women!
