...hard to believe we were put upon and beaten up in the old country when you watch us beat up on each other once we get out. No one slammed my sculpture except our own people...no one stood in our way except other Assyrians. How can it be that in Iraq we were all close and unified and together against the crimes and depredations of others...but in the United States where no Muslim or anyone else picks on us...we clobber each other? I think we were doing there...what we did back when the Muslims came in and separated the warring bishops and what nots in BetNahrain...I think we go for each other's juggulars wherever we are and probably resent the people who stop us and then punish us because we keep the neighbors up all night and disturb the peace and so on with this caterwauling for Assyria we call National Work. --------------------- |
