don`t know why but I remembered a cousin of ours I was told was kidnapped by Kurds and forced to spend two years in their village before being allowed to return. That was in the late 70s. There was always something screwy in the story because he returned unharmed and went back to visit there several times. Then I realized that with most of these "kidnapped" stories, the man went to live there on his own..maybe had friends or fell in love. This is such a shame to Christians that you get these "kidnap stories all the time to cover what they don`t want known. Why would he go back and what was the point of kidnapping a grown young man? No one ever said he was mistreated even when they addmitted he must have been kidnapped. Seems silly until you realize how hard Christians work at demonizing people...and scaring their own youngsters. When Assyrian families will kick out a child for marrying or falling in love with Muslims...or turn their backs on any woman raped by one..you get a good indication of what is "kindness" to them..and what nationalism means. Peter Jassim was so upset that his siter married a Muslim he changed his name to BetBassoo. How`s that for wit? --------------------- |
