About the post I lifted a while back from aina...the one about the Christian villagers in Iraq stopping a mosque from being built...wherein one of the Christians said the mosque would disfigure the village or something...brings up a lot of interesting points. For one it shows that stupid and prejudiced people are just that..."People" and there is no exclusive corner on virtue or idiocy. This is comforting because it lends credence to the idea that Assyrians stupidly gave up on Ashur and went running after variants of Judaism...and since you can see what a belief in Yahwe made of them old Hebrews, it's no wonder it's reduced the Assyrians to about the same stuff.

It should make our Patrots sit up and take notice also because Iraq is a Muslim country that could have easily insisted the State religion doesn't disfigure anything and that if the minority/collaborationist Christians weren't carefull they'd get disfigured. I mean that's all we've heard as justification for the murder of thousands and hundreds of thousands Iraqis for years: Muslims beat up on Christians every chance they get, so let's go beat them up and show them how it ought to be done...after all Saddam didn't starve his own children to death, or anybody else's, come to think of it...the Madman.

The Assyrian "crisis" came from the villages...it always has. Villages such as these where there's that age-old and retrograde tension and jealousy between villagers. Christians are pissed as hell that Christ lost out and I'm sure have taken every opportunity they could through the ages to "fight back". I think it's from this that stories of atrocities and mass exodus and persecution come from. It isn't Assyrians who are being made to suffer but Christians and not the brightest bulbs either...as you can readily see from the examples we get on these other thingies. These guys still act like they wake up in a mud hut of the mind each morning. Sure, they make great accountants, engineers and now computer freaks...but underneath it...like hot air gushing below a Volcano...they're the same Village Christian Idiots...only in America they think they have a "Cause"...get as many Muslims killed, for Christ, as they can and send the country to hell too if that's the only way to achieve their goal...also for "Christ"...only they can't come out and say such a stupid thing so they seize on the even more stupid idea, to anyone but a Christian villager, that Iraq is still Assyria and belongs to THEM...don't you know. But...just to show they can be reasonable, don't demand the entire place...just a wee bit of a corner of it, when what they really deserve is a private room in Bedlam.

I told Narsai he wasn't helping Assyrians at all...that ZOWAA, like the rest of them, is a Christian Phlangist Movement...the middle finger to be exact...and all he was doing was adding fuel to the fire from which a Christian Militia will be formed...so that when the Gringos have shed enough blood and wrapped up concessions and deals to last Bush's lifetime, they'll get out and Christians will get the drubbing, once again, they asked for and richly deserve...after which every traitor turncoat who wore an American Militia uniform will be transformed into a Martyr...Jackie will take her wool suit out of mothballs...Narsai will cook and we'll have a fundraiser to help these "Assyrians"..."blessed be their memory"... and WE SHALL NEVER FORGET!

We shall never learn either.
