Look at our favorite weasel...watch him as he squirms around this...it`s a good thing he can avoid any serious opposition..and this turkey and the rest of the boys really want to go live where they`ll be confronted and surrounded by pissed as hell Muslims? yeah, right. The flag is a secular symbol and does not carry or convey a religious meaning. It is our national flag. Yes, it represents the God Ashur, but that does not in any way deny Jesus. ...you have tread carefull with this guy..he`s oily. The whole point of the post he`s responding to is that the flag has pagan symbols...paganism as in RELIGION. So of course the "flag" conveys religious meaning..my god it has the ASSYRIAN GOD ON IT...how can it NOT be symbollic of his religion? But if you disagree you`ll be gone anyway...with those ground rules Peter can always be right. ...Showing the god Ashur doesn`t deny Jesus because Ashur and his people NEVER HEARD of him. The flag also doesn`t deny Muhammad, for the same reason..or Buddha..the flag isn`t meant to deny ANYTHING..it`s meant to AFFIRM something..that the god of the Assyrians is Ashur. Ashur was our God before Jesus, and he and us helped pave the way for the coming of Jesus (did not Jonah go to Nineveh?). ...People travelled around a lot then...so? Ashur didn`t pave the way for any jew god...why the hell would he? If anything jew gods and carpenters bowed doen before Ashur and swept the pavement in front of our kings. We can and should acknowledge ALL of our heritage, from 5000 B.C. until now; we should be proud of this remarkable history. ...thank you! That`s exactly what I`ve been saying...we should respect our turning to Muhammad too and the glorious emoire we helped create that took the light of BetNahrain around the world. I knew you`d come to your senses eventually. How many other nations can look back that far and see so many accomplishments by their ancestors? ...not many that`s for sure. Thanks. --------------------- |
