I've heard the same explanation for what happened after the fall of empire...that Assyrians ran for the hils rather than stay and be wiped out. Sorry...Assyrians don't run..not now, not then. There was nothing to run from...being conquered by others of Betnahrain would have been akin to being conquered by the Assyrians themseleves and contrary to what Judo/Christianity has been putting out for centuries...one of them to slander us the other to concoct a scenario by which Jesus came and saved us...gave strength and courage to sneak down onto the plains and "thrive" again as his followers...is poppycock, perpetuated by poppycocksuckers. Once again we have evidence to go on..we don't need an explanation for our behavior from Jews..who were the ones back then to kill every man, woman and child and animal and burn everything...why would't they? They were doing it to their own people for the sake of this same god. What need would they have of Assyrian silversmiths and architects and sculptors and doctors and writers? To them these were all Evil people who Sinned before the Lord...they were marrauding cuttthroats themselves who were only waiting for someone to arm them and back them before they'd go back to what they did best back then...destroy for god. We know when the Assyrians conquered a People, they did NOT kill every man, woman, child and animal. In almost every case they allowed the people to remain as they were...found someone loyal to rule or imposed their own givernor...in other cases they transplanted people, all of whom thrived again...but they didn't put them on reservations, as the Christians of the United States would centuries later..Christians who didn't have the benefit of having an Assyrian god but a Jew one instead. Continual rebellion brought the harshest treatment..though still nothing to compare with the recent Christan attack against the children of BetNahrain in which 500,000 Assyrian children were starved to death...Assyrians just didn't do things like that. The Assyrian nation was toppled by a coalition of Babylonians and Medes...no one wanted any Jew help. At the time of Ashurbanipal the king of Babylon had been his own brother and Babylonian and Assyrian blood was mixing freely. The Medes would go on to build their own magnificent empire, also borrowing heavily from the Assyrians and Babylonians and Chaldians as anyone can see who looks at their art and architecture...obviously the Medes did not wish every Assyrian dead or driven into the mountains...and no Assyrian would have left either Nineveh, Babylon or Pasargade or Susa for a village in the mountains...this myth is brought to you by villages in the mountains whose ancestors escaped there to get away from the murdering an marrauding Romans much later to justify their "purity" at having run away from Islam and the converts it was now making in BetNahrain...who apparently liked islam enough NOT to go hiding in the hills. The victorious Babylonians and Medes would have welcomed the Assyrians...and would have treated them much as the standard for treatment of conquered people dictated...what we know, not what we have to speculate on so it fits into Christian mythology. The defeated Assyrians would not have experienced a foreign occupier when their cousins and family members strode into Nineveh among the Babyloians..and the Medes obviously became enthralled with the culture they saw and took great pains to learn and adopt it...they would hardly have butchered every last Assyrian. There was also no need or incentive to run...for all the defeated Assyrians knew, this was just one defeat like many suffered by all the people in BetNahrain throughout their history, Assyrians included and they would oe day be back on their feet and even stronger, as had happened when the Hurrians ruled over them as well as the Babylonians...there was no reason to take fright and flick the whole thing in...that's Jew talk again, the notion that ONE defeat sent them all running for the hills and it took a Jew to pry their fingers loose from the trees and rocks and send them back to clean the streets. These slanders are perpetuated by people today whose loyalties are all to Israel and the Christianity it gave to the world...they have abandoned every shred of anything that came from our world...except for the name..which they've tacked on to something extremely tacky as you can see by the outcome...they are shitty Christians and even worse Assyrians...every word they utter is an insult to BetNahrain when it isn't singing the praises of Israel..even going so far as to explain that, "they are really the same thing"...by way of explaining how we didn't really abandon Ashur...because he was just like Yahwe and his kid. The defeated Assyrians blended in nicely with the conquerors, who were much closer to being "the same thing" than the Hebrews EVER were. They did not scatter to the hills...and some Jew walking over the hill did NOT give them the courage they needed...the guts they were lacking...the inspiraion they never had...to crawl back down again and prepare their children's necks for slaughter. The Babylonians...Assyrians, Chaldeans having mixed freely with each other...as well as the Persians were all attacked by Rome later...a Rome whose dismal history we know only too well...a Rome that took new life when it became Christian because now it had an even greater bloodlust and a Prince of Peace to hide behind. More than likely they did what they always did...put everyone to the sword or enslaved them...and made Christans of them so they would raise little Romans...who would be members in good standing...glad to have had their parents "converted" to the true light of Jesus...and worked to death...for just coincidentally the Romans had Jesus say not a word against slavery...or poverty...but had him tell his followers to be sure to give Caesar whatever he asked for...and in his other guise of Pontifex Maximus, the same name the pope still uses...he would bless them for it...because he was also God's rep on earth. The phrase "render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar and unto God what belongs to God"...is nothing more than words put into the mouth of Jesus to justify giving EVERYTHING to Caesar...as Caesar decided who was to be pope and often enough changed popes if they misbehaved. Mar Toma is another fraud perpetuated on us. Another attempt at the old lie of a missonary walking over a hill and having people who never heard of him fall down and worship...in this case a Jew god. How absurd. How unlikely a scenario that is...and you can bet the people pushing it are the same ones calling down destruction on Iraq today for not following the "true lord"...and the various sects they've made of him. Thank Ashur for Islam...it saved that region from coming under the sway of the Romans...which would have included it in their 1000 year long Dark Age. Thank Ashur the Muslims took to Assyrian and Persian culture and preserved the pagan writings of the Greeks and anyone else...carrying on the tradition of the Great King...Ashurbanipal...who scoured the earth looking for books and knowledge...thank Ashur they learned from him and emulated him..or else Rome would have burned all those books as well as the authors...as they are keeping those same books buried today. Without Islam there would have been no Renaissance..there would have been no Reformation...it was the interest in Learning and respect for culture of the fabulous Islamic Empire that gave inspiration and hope to people of Europe as well as the practical manifestations of that culture they saw in Spain that later permeated all of Europe...hope that Life didn't HAVE to be what the Romans said it was...Knowledge and Learning and History and Letters didn't HAVE to be wiped off the face of the earth to please that olf fart, or controlled and censored by the savage Christians...without Islam the gifts of Betnahrain would have been buried alive...and you can thank Islam again for preserving the treasures of the Assyrians..and thank the same Christians for seeking to keep that light from the world...and now attacking the very homelands that Islam has been protecting from their rapacious grasp. As grateful as I am...it is still the case that a belief in a Jew god sooner or later weakens People for there is a built in intolerance that poisons everything it touches in time...as Ibn Saud said..."in a political war there can be compromise...in a religious war, you have to kill everybody"...and that's exactly where we're heading again...though we never really stopped...not in 2000 years during which time there has been constant warfare between these Jew inspired religions and in the case of Christians at least...immese amounts of blood shed within their own ranks as brother killed sister over a Jew god. Enough should be enough...anyone calling for even more is no friend of the Human Race, but of Yahwe...who already tried once to drown us all.
