...I love it when Aprim goes from blubbering on aina to blubbering to the DA of the United States...are we assholes to the world or WHAT! And they say little ole me, Farid Parhad, is an ENEMY of the Assyrian people!!! I couldnīt blacken our name if I tried my damndest more than this righteous ass does daily. Posted By: Fred Aprim (89.san-jose-14rh15rt.ca.dial-access.att.net) Date: Monday, 2 February 2004, at 11:43 a.m. In Response To: Letter to Cheney Non-muslims in Iraq (Nile) Mr. Attorney: It is very alarming that you state: "The Chaldean Church traces its founding in haq directly to the apostles of the fIrst century and its liturgy continues to be in Aramaic, the language of Jesus. The original inhabitants of Mesopotamia, the Chaldeans have dwindled to about 700,000." Not a single claim in the above is true and when it comes from a laywer it must not be taken lightly. 1. The Chaldean Catholic Church cannot trace its founding in Iraq directly to the apostles of the first century. The Chaldean Catholic Church in Iraq was eatablished in 1830. 2. Its liturgy does not continue to be in Aramaic, rather mostly in Arabic. 3. The Chaldean Catholic Church members ARE NOT related to the ancient Chaldeans. 4. The members of the Chaldean Catholic Church did not dwindle to about 700,000. To say dwindle, you are insinuating that the numbers was very large and have come down to a very smaller figure. The vast majority of the members of the Chaldean Catholic Church are still in Iraq. Fred ...given the general tone and the atrocious grammar, with no attempt made to re-read or spell-check and the fact that there is no formal leave-taking....just "Fred", like he{s on a first name basis with this guy...would you be surprised if this went into the trash, if it is ever read at all...or worse, if they read it and think this idiot speaks for anyone...or tries to? And the funny thing is...Aprim knows damn well no one will take it or him seriously...thatīs the perfect beauty of being these kinds of Christians...they EXPECT to be spat upon...like you know who. --------------------- |
