I was shocked to hear a commercial being broadcast from the local Persian Radio station in Los Angeles about the annual Assyrian food festival held at the St. Mary church in Tarzana. The 670 AM radio station will be broadcasting live from the church, inviting all the Iranians to attend the food festival.
I understand that our church is trying to spread the news of our existence to the world, but
Instead of inviting local, national politicians and the American opinion leaders we invite
The Iranian community.

...imagine that! Just think of all the American opinion makers who`d flock to the church basement to hear opinions and eat onions.

Instead of inviting the Chaldeans and the other 50 Assyrian tribes we invite the Iranian community as if there aren’t enough Assyrians who are already married to Muslim Iranians!

...oops! The National Agenda gets tweaked in public. I thought they were all "kidnapped" brutally and FORCED to marry?

I know annual Greek, and Italian food festivals are held through out the U.S., but I thought we were the one’s fighting for our survival.

...fighting for "survival" with Boishala? I know I`ve struggled to survive AFTER eating one too many kipti...but fight FOR survival with dolma???

This is the out come of our religious leaders trying to act as our political leader.

...don`t forget our Chef/elder statesmen.

What is the benefit of feeding bunch of people who do not give a dam about us. But then again the church will be making money by selling a bowl of boshala for 5 box. Money is dirty but it will clean any filth.

...Now why wouldn`t a Muslim give a damn about you...fed or not fed? Look at how much you care for Muslims...

...wullah there are fewer and fewer people who want to be Assyrian...it`s almost an invitation to ridicule and humiliation. This is what comes of our smartest ones being scared to death of being smeared by the stupidest among us...after years of this kind of selective-breeding we`re left with only the most atupid and backwards who are PROWD to be Assyrian...so glad they purified the blood by chasing away all those sissified Assyrians who didn`t have what it takes to call the other guy`s mother a cock-sucking whore.
