I think everyone`s waiting for the other shoe to drop. It became painfully and quickly clear to the boys that the rosy scenario Kanna is still peddling never really had a chance. It was their own wishfull thinking fueled by the Christians who used them again. Sure...we`ll get you representatives..sure you`ll have rights..of course you might maybe sort of get an enclave..hell maybe a country might not be a bad idea..we are the Americans after all..we bring sunshine wherever we go.

Damn fools swallowed it with their pablum on their forums that aren`t...just adverts for Christian American hogwash. But it`s quiet out there...a post now and then about rutabagus and the Assyrian jams we used to make..some feeble attempts at re-painting the picture in Iraq as sort of rosy...maybe...you nebver know.

But we know secularism is gone. There`ll be uneasy alliances between Mullahs and Clerics and Kurds..two sides...and the US can then play them offf each other with all sides thinking they`re clever and can outsmart the other guy...and the minorities will be the same ping pong they always were, batted from one to another...bewildered and forced to even fight among themselves and each other. The whole thing is going to be as deprerssing as can be...where are those happy days in the ice cream parlor...let me guess...the Iraqis wouldn`t shut up and agree to be killed and humiliated in silent gratitude..right?

I`ll be here waiting when the first posts come about MULSIM BRUTALITY...about Iraqis who SEEK REVENGE! Just wait.
